Tümay Günaydin's paintings have been developed from a series of portraits. Dark, eroded, and brooding while carrying the potential of hope, the characters in the paintings emerge from a certain past to look at the viewer through the mists of time.

The young Macedonian/Turkish clarinet virtuoso Ismail Lumanovski and the NY Gypsy All-Stars Band will perform an unforgettable night of jazz-inflected Turkish, Balkan and Mediterranean Romani (Gypsy) songs with a guest performer. With members from Turkey, Greece, Macedonia and U.S.A; the band takes pride in getting its musical references from their cross-cultural backgrounds as well as from the city of New York, which is the ultimate crossroads of several cultures and musicians and thus essentially a Gypsy city at heart.
