Bestselling American humorist David Sedaris will read from his latest collection of essays, When You Are Engulfed in Flames. Sedaris' sixth book assembles essays on such topics as how to make coffee when the water is shut off, buying drugs in a mobile home in rural North Carolina, having a lozenge fall from your mouth into the lap of a fellow passenger on a plane, lancing a boil from his backside and venturing to Japan in order to quit smoking. This event is free and open to the public, but reserved seating is no longer available. There is, however, plenty of standing room. Those who reserved a seat online should go to the Basement Info Desk to pick up their ticket, the day of the event. Seating will begin at 5:00PM.
