Tour FactsTours are given Monday through Friday, except Bank holidays, at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. To accommodate for security screening, arrive 20 minutes before your tour.The tour is free, but space is limited. Up to 30 visitors can be accommodated on each tour. Students must be at least 16 years old or juniors in high school. One adult must accompany each group of nine students. Wheelchair access is provided from the Maiden Lane entrance.Access to the buildingThe New York Fed may close to the public at any time if heightened security is needed. Visitors to the New York Fed must show an officially issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, and go through scanning equipment to enter the building. Cameras or camera phones may not be used in our facilities. Security regulations require visitors to leave cameras, briefcases and other packages in locked closets in the Bank's lobby. Tour reservationsRequests for reservations must be made in advance. Individuals and small groups are advised to contact the New York Fed at least one month in advance to schedule a tour. Groups of more than 10 should contact us at least three months in advance. Request Tour

mailing address and telephone number. Tickets will be mailed to you to confirm the date and time of the tour. Tickets must be presented to the tour guide upon your arrival at the Bank. Reservations are based upon tour availability, and advance notice does not guarantee a reservation.
Schedule LectureRequests for a one-hour lecture about the Federal Reserve System must be made in writing at least one month in advance. Write to the staff director of Public Affairs at the address above or by e-mail.
Lectures usually follow or precede a tour and may be made for groups of at least 15 people. Indicate the size and type of group.
