Spring is here and it's time to celebrate. Grab a friend and start packing because just $85 will get you out of town, across the border and on your way to a fabulous weekend getaway. Through the end of June 2009, Amtrak is offering a special roundtrip "Spring Fling" weekend fare (Thursday to Monday) between New York City, Albany and Montreal.

It's easy and carefree. No driving, no flying, no parking — all you have to do is settle into a cozy Adirondack coach and relax. When you book your ticket on Amtrak.com, don't forget to book a hotel for the weekend — you can be sure you're getting a great price and you won't pay any booking fees.

With the largest French speaking population after Paris you'll feel like you've left the continent. From horse-drawn carriages to casinos, nature to nightlife, there's plenty to do in Montreal. See why National Geographic Traveler named the Adirondack one of the ten most scenic train trips in the world.

The discounted fare will be automatically applied to qualifying travel and displayed on the 'View Fare' page.
